Jimmy was the kind of man that anyone who met him was immediately proud to have made his acquaintance. He was smart, kind, considerate, and had been blessed physical beauty. I grew up with him, went to the same high school, and dated the same girls. I moved away like he did and since my return to Lafayette about 12 years ago I had hoped to visit with him again. My heart goes out to his family. On the other hand, consider yourself lucky to have known such a fine gentleman, I do.

- Easten "Skip" Dupuis, Lafayette, LA

I grew up with Jimmy and AJ around the corner from me on South St.Louis. When I was a Junior at Cathedral-Carmel, he had already graduated and was working as an orderly at LGMC. I had a major asthma attack and my dad took me to the ER. While I looked like something "the cat dragged in" Jimmy treated me me with respect and kindness. At the time, he was voted "Best Looking" in his Senior class and I was, shall we say, just the opposite. I invited him to my Junior-Senior Prom and when he said yes, I felt like Cinderella. It was a night I will never forget!!! Prayers to his family and thank you for one of the best nights in high school.

- Althea Bell Zanazzi, Lafayette, LA
